Wanda J. Schoffler Obituary

Wanda J. Schoffler, 85, former Fountain Springs resident, passed away November 10, 2025, at the Schuylkill Manor Nursing Center, Pottsville.  Born in Shamokin, September 18, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Sara (Longenberger) Rhoades.  She was a graduate of the Shamokin High School, and was employed as a Convenience Store Manager and Owner of the A & W Convenience Store in Fountain Springs until its closing.  Wanda also managed the Unimart Store in Minersville and the Unimart Store, Ashland, until her retirement.  She was a member of Christ Congregational Church, Fountain Springs.  Preceding her in death was a daughter, Tangie Gough, sisters; Faye, June, Larue and Shirley, also brothers; Boy, Nook, and Rene.

At Wanda’s request, there will not be any funeral services at this time.
