Shirley M. Buffington Obituary

Shirley M. Buffington, 80, of Spring Glen, passed away December 22, 2021 at her residence.  Born in Barry Township, October 6, 1941, she was the daughter of Alfred and Gertrude Klinger Fey.  She attended the former Hegins Township High School, and was a member of St. Matthews United Church of Christ, Spring Glen.  Preceding her in death was her husband Lester Buffington, passing in 2008, a sister, Loretta Bixler, and brothers, Edward, Thomas, and Raymond Fey.

Son: Duane Buffington and his wife Tracey, Montoursville


Son:  Lynn Buffington and his wife Bernadette, Spring Glen


Grandchildren:  Brianna wife of Tyler Moyle, Nicholas and Rebecca Buffington.


Great Grandson:  Arthur Moyle


Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins


A funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family with internment in St. Matthews United Church of Christ Cemetery.
