Shawn P. O’Boyle, 52, of Fountain Springs, Ashland, former Girardville resident, passed away October 6, 2021, surrounded by family, at his residence.  Born in Pottsville, March 22, 1969. He was the son of the late Terrance and Margaret Hennessy O’Boyle.  He attended North Schuylkill High School, Fountain Springs, and was last employed as a truck driver for Universal Forest Products of Gordon.  Shawn was a member of the former St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Girardville, and is now a member of St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Parish, Ashland.  He was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Girardville.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing, Tuesday, October 12, 2021, from 6 PM to 8 PM, in the Richard W.
