Samuel T. Snyder, 71, of Vine Street, Ashland, passed away Saturday, May 12th, surrounded by his family at his residence. Born in Locustdale, April 30, 1947, he was the son of the late Albert and Lorraine Shields Snyder Sr. Sam was being cared for in his home by his daughter Bonnie and his grandchildren Diana and Derek Kranzel. He attended William Tennent High School, Warminster, later he was employed for Keystone Screw Company, Willow Grove, and as pressman for Standard Press Steel, Jenkintown. Moving back to Ashland, he was employed for the former Laubenstines Manufacturing Company as a pressman, Ashland, and lastly as a coal miner for Bernitsky Coal Company, New Philadelphia, until his retirement.
He loved fishing, camping, and trips to Knoebles Amusement Park and playing with his grandchildren.
Preceding him in death was a sister Laura Facer, 2015, and a brother Albert Snyder Jr., 2018, grandson Dawson Snyder, 1998, and a granddaughter Tela Snyder, 1999.

Twelve Grandchildren, Five Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial funeral service, Friday, May 18th, at 6 PM in the Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home, 1323 Centre St., Ashland. Officiating will be Rev.
