Mom was born at home on her parents farm in Klingerstown. She enjoyed life growing up with her 3 sisters. Horseback
riding and helping with the farm animals filled her days. She would meet with friends to go riding near home. Her
love for Gods creation was always evident. There were many walks and lots of playing outdoors with her siblings.
While growing up she met the man she would marry, Gary Kembel. Their love for one another grew which led to marriage
on August 31, 1968 . They had 4 children which were raised on that same family farm. There would be many family
gatherings and picnics with relation. Games of volleyball and basketball were always fun sports that were observed and
played.
Her children were blessed to grow up in a loving home. Through the years they would have numerous pets. She had a
great love for children, Collies and Horses. There would be more family gatherings and picnics on the farm. This time
it was with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She took pleasure in watching all the kids playing
various games at the family picnics. All the main food was supplied by her and she organized the whole event.
Her life was lived loving her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. She would say to pray about your situation that the
Lord would work it out. Much time was spent reading the bible, praying and watching the 700 Club. Joy was the feeling
she got over hearing the way others were blessed. Her saying was thank God for all the blessings. The saying was even
discovered written on bills that she was able to pay by Gods blessings. When a person was going through hard times she
would encouraged them and would give them scripture to help them. Proverbs 3:5-8 ( Trust in the Lord with all thine
heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.
Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to
thy bones. )
Mom dedicated a major portion of her life to the Millersburg Home. It went through numerous name changes, but she
remained steadfast and true doing laundry. On many occasions she would proclaim how she loved her job and enjoyed her
work. She looked forward to meeting the residents in the hall and would share her love and kindness with them.
Many people were touched by her life and her words of encouragement. Her friends and loved ones were always in her
prayers. She surely lived what she believed. Even as she was waiting for the ambulance her prayers, unto her Lord,
could be heard. Mom will be missed by all the people her life touched.
