Rosemary Kroh, 83, of Market St. Ashland, formerly of Locustdale, passed away Tuesday June 28, 2016 at Geisinger Shamokin Area Community Hospital. Born in Locustdale on March 11, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Leona Reese Proctor. Rosemary attended the former Conyngham–Centralia High School. Following high school, she worked at the Ashland Shirt Factory as a sewing machine operator until her retirement. Rosemary was a member of the former St. Joseph’s Church, Locustdale. She was married to Albert “Joko” Kroh, who preceded her in death in 2005. Rosemary and her daughter Barbara were inseparable. She loved Wal-Mart trips because there was always a lunch stop involved. Rosemary’s great grandson, Joey III was the light of her life. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sons Francis in 2014, Albert in 2012, and Gerald in 1985; Grandson Michael Kroh in 2015; brothers Gerald, Francis, and William Proctor; and sisters Jeanette Ermert and Catherine Helen Gross.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend a graveside service at the Brock Cemetery on Thursday July 7, 2016 at 11A.M. Officiating will be the Rev. Dana Heckman – Beil, pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shephard, Ashland. The family appreciated the care and compassion provided to Rosemary, and would prefer memorials in Rosemary’s name be made to Family Medical Home Health, 50 S. Oak St. Mount Carmel, PA 17851.
