Roberta (Mickey) J. (Summers) McCabe Obituary

Roberta (Mickey) J. McCabe, 80, of Main Street, Wilburton, passed away Thursday, July 21st, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.  Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John and Marie Wingate Summers.  She attended the Kensington Girls School, Kensington, and was employed as a sewing machine operator at the Stetson Hat Factory, Philadelphia, until moving to Mt.Carmel.


Mickey was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church, Aristes, and the Wilburton Senior Citizens. She was an avid Bingo player.


Preceding her in death was her husband, George McCabe, on August 23, 2015, brothers, John, Frederick, and Marple Summers

Son:  Patrick McCabe, Wilburton


Son:  William Hough, Kulpmont


Step Son:  Kevin McCabe, Lititz


Sister:  Anna Mae (Ann) Sauger, Mt. Carmel


7 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews
