Robert C. Caton, 85, of Cresswell Gardens, Ashland, passed away Thursday evening, October 12th 2017, at the Manor Care Health Services, Camp Hill. Born in Frackville, February 10, 1932, he was the son of the late William and Anna Wessner Caton. He was a graduate of the former Frackville High School, class of 1950, and was employed as a truck driver for the former Adukaitis Contracting Company, Frackville, and lastly for the Blaschak Coal Company of St. Nicholas, retiring in 1995. Bob was of the Protestant faith and an active member of the South End Field and Stream Association, Frackville. His favorite activity was spending time with his grandson.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Ann Irvin Caton, passing February 1, 2014, sisters, Shirley Brown, Betty Yarnell, Mae Stauffer, and a brother William.

Nieces and Nephews
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, October 24th 2017, from 6 to 8 PM at the Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home, 1323 Centre St., Ashland, with a memorial service at 7 PM. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Wednesday, October 25th 2017, at 11 AM. Officiating will be Rev. David Grant, pastor of Zion’s Reformed United Church of Christ, Ashland. The family request memorial donations be made to the South End Field and Stream Association, Whipporwill Road, Frackville, PA 17931.
