Robert F. Becker, Jr., 71, of Main St. Seltzer, passed away May 13th, at his residence.  Born in Pottsville, June 28, 1949, he was the son of the late Robert and Catherine Boothby Becker Sr.  He was a graduate of the Nativity High School, Pottsville, with a perfect attendance of four years, class of 1967, and Kings College, Wilkes Barre, class of 1971, attaining a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Computer Science.  Bob was employed as a Computer Software Manager for Versys Computer Corporation, Allentown, until his retirement.  He was active with the CYO Boys Basketball League, Pottsville, Pottsville Jaycees, serving as president, and Chaplin for the Pennsylvania State Jaycees, also a member of the Saint Bernard’s Beneficial Society, Pottsville, holding the office of Treasurer.  As a supporter of our veterans, he was a member of the Auburn V.F.W. Post 3975, and the Pottsville AMVETS Post 180.

Sister:  Katherine Hudock, Mifflinburg

Sister:  Mary wife of Robert Porter, Pottsville

Grandchildren:  Aria Taylor, Emerson Taylor, Ethan Becker, and Camille Becker, Nieces and nephews

Fury companions:  Buster, Cooper, Baily, Charlie, and Gunner
