Richard “Norm” Britt, 68, of Centre St., Ashland, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2022, with his family by his side, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Born at the former Ashland State General Hospital in Fountain Springs, November 12, 1953, he was the son of James and Margaret Muldowney Britt. He was a graduate of the Mt. Carmel High School, class of 1972. Norm was employed for 40 years at the Bethlehem Steel Company, Steelton, retiring as a Senior Operating Technician. He attended the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, and he was a member of the Good Fellowship Club, both of Ashland. Norm and his wife Eloise loved to travel in the United States, visiting 37 states, as well as trips to Canada and Mexico. Preceding him in death were brothers, Edward Muldowney McCarthy, James, William, Paul Britt, also sisters, Janet Susnoski, Marilyn Bolesta, Lillian Matty, Mary Louise Olear, and Lorraine McAndrew.
