Raymond L. “Smokey” Reinoehl, 75, Mowry, Main St., Ashland, passed away Tuesday, November 21st, at the Shenandoah Manor Nursing Center. Born in Fountain Springs, May 16, 1942, he was the son of late Charles “Lee” and Rita McAndrew Reinoehl. He attended the former Butler Township High School, Fountain Springs, and was employed as a lifetime coal miner at area mines, lastly working for the Porter Tunnel Coal Company, Tower City, until his retirement. Smokey was of the Catholic faith.
Preceding him in death was his companion of 28 years, Shirley Buhl, a son, Raymond in 2008, and Sisters Mary Lou Miller and Agnes Smarr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service, Saturday,
Nov. 25th, at 12 Noon in the Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home, 1323 Centre St., Ashland. Officiating will be Rev. Paul L. Rothermel, pastor of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Parish, Ashland.
