Raymond A. Bosco Obituary

Raymond A. “Pap” Bosco, 84, of Main Street, Locust Gap, former Lavelle resident, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 22, 2021, surrounded by his family, at his residence.  Born in St. Clair, June 12, 1937, he was the son of Anthony and Antoinette Galinsky Bosco.  He attended the Saint Clair High School, and was employed as a coal miner at many area mines, later retiring from Schuylkill Products Company, Cressona, after 20 years of employment.  Ray enjoyed going to the dirt track races, spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He loved helping “supervising” with the many family projects.  Preceding him in death was a brother Eugene.

Wife:  Martha E. Deeter Bosco, married September 2, 1960


Son:  James Bosco and his wife Stacey, Lavelle


Son:  John “George” Bosco and his wife Mary Lou, Locust Gap


Daughter:  Tina Light Dengler, Mount Airy, N.C.


Sister:  Anna Bosco, South Carolina 


Grandchildren:  Bambi Bosco, Tammy Patino, Amanda Shadler, Tom Light, Tyler Bosco, John Kenneitz


Great Grandchildren:  Briana. Alana, Markayla, Trevor, Nathan, Olivia, Liam, Taylor 


Funeral services will be held at later date.  Interment will be in the Citizen’s Cemetery, Lavelle.  Visit www.Fritzfuneralhome.com. The Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home, Ashland, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
