Phyllis E. (Bucher) Moser

Phyllis E. Moser, of Ashland, passed away peacefully on Sunday December 11, 2016 at Ridgeview Health & Rehabilitation, Shenandoah Heights.  Born in Ringtown on July 8, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Archbald and Elizabeth Faust Bucher.  Phyllis graduated from the former Conyngham-Centralia Joint High School, class of 1950.  She attended St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Aristes.  Phyllis was a bookkeeper for Pollack Fur’s of Pottsville for 25 years.  She also was employed as a cashier at the former Schuylkill Mall K-Mart for 36 years.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson Robert Moser, in 2014.  Phyllis truly embraced her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Granddaughter:  Bethany Gressens and husband Brent, Locustdale

Granddaughter:  Deidre Monahan and husband Josh, Ashland

Granddaughter: Heather Soult, and husband Ken, Mahanoy City

Grandson:  Christopher Moser, Jr., Ashland

Grandson:  Shane and Melissa Moser, Gordon

Greatgrandchildren:  Ayden, Bryson, and Gage Soult; Joseph and Jaisey Monahan; Riley and Avery Moser; Harmony and Hope Gressens.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend a memorial funeral service at 2 P.M. Saturday, December 17 from the Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home, Ashland.  The Rev. David W. Grant, pastor of the Zion’s Reformed United Church of Christ, Ashland will be officiating.  Visitation will be held from 12 Noon until time of service at the funeral home.  Interment will be held at a later date in St. John’s Cemetery, Ringtown.   In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital http://www.stjude.org
