Mary A. Snyder

Mary A. (Memaw) Snyder, 80, former Tremont resident, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024, at the Tremont Nursing Center.  Born in Pottsville, August 11, 1943, she was the daughter of Russell and Dorothy Hoffman Krobert.  She attended Pottsville High School, and was employed at area clothing factories, retiring in 1978 from Cressona Knit Products.  Mary was of the Lutheran faith. Mary loved being around her family, her kids, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  They were her world. Preceding her in death was her husband, Thomas Snyder, passing December 1, 2010, sons, Kermit, Russell, Thomas J., Randall, sisters, Gloria Jean Krobert, and Nancy Neiswinter, and a brother Joseph Krobert.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life funeral serviced, Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 6 PM, in St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, 59 Spring Street, Tremont, PA.  Rev David Fehr, pastor, will lead the service.  Visitation will begin at 5 PM until service.  Visit www.Fritzfuneralhome.com.
