Mary Lorady

Mary Lorady, 96, former Girardville resident, passed away April 20st, at the Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.  Born in Raven Run, April 11, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth Kolman.  She attended the former West Mahanoy Township Elementary School, Shenandoah Heights, and was a member of the former St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Girardville.  Mary worked as a floor lady at a Girardville Dress factory until her retirement.

Preceding her in death was her husband, James J. Lorady, March 8, 1996, a son, James M. Lorady, November 30, 1998, sisters, Helen Kowlick, and Marge Cross, also brothers, Andrew, Steve, George, John, Kolman, and John Ferrence.

Son:  Rick Lorady and his wife Gail, Ashland

Sister:  Betty Dower, Shenandoah

Five Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial funeral service, Saturday, April 28th, at 1:30 PM in Christ’s United Lutheran Church, 437 Airport Road, Ashland.  Officiating will be Rev.
