Mary H. Houser, 71, of Brown Lane, Ashland, passed away Friday morning January 22nd 2016 at the Broad Mountain Nursing Center, Frackville. Born in Fountain Springs, November 6, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Margaret May. She was a graduate of the former Ashland High School, class of 1962, and was employed for 41 years as a machine operator at Tri State Envelope Corporation, Ashland, until her retirement. Mary was a member of Christ’s United Lutheran Church, Airport Road, Ashland. She was a loving mother and grandmother, always enjoying time with her family. Preceding her in death was a grandson, Seth Houser, and a brother in law, Craig Conner Survivors: Husband: James H. Houser Sr., married 53 years Son: James H. Houser III and his wife Chelsea, Bellevue Nebraska Amanda wife of Daniel Weisbeck, Ashland Alison, Katelyn, Rebecca Houser Andrew Charriez Nieces and Nephews Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral service, Tuesday, 11 AM, in Christ’s United Lutheran Church, Airport Road, Ashland. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Kim L. Lengert, pastor. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery, Fountain Springs. Viewing hours at the church will be held Monday, 6 PM to 8PM, and Tuesday, 9 AM until service.
