Margaret Shivelhood Obituary

Margaret J. Shivelhood, 77, of Middle St., Locustdale, passed away January 26th, at her residence with family at her side. Born in Fountain Springs, March 27, 1940, she was the daughter of the late George and Amelia Shields Kerner. She attended the former Ashland High School, and was employed as a sewing machine operator at area garment factories, and lastly as a custodian for Country Inn and Suites, High Ridge. Margaret attended the Grace Evangelical Church, Locustdale. Preceding her in death was her former husband, Robert J. Shivelhood Sr. passing in February 1996, son Edward, grandson Troy Shivelhood, sister Ann Logan, and a brother Gerald Kerner.

Daughter: Kimberly Phelan, Locustdale
Son: Robert (Jim) Shivelhood Jr. and his wife, Bonnie, Paxinos
Sister: Patricia wife of Charles Hinkle, Locustdale
Sister: Lois Harvey, Williamsport
3 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews
Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral service, Thursday evening,
7 PM, in the Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home, 1323 Centre St., Ashland. Officiating will be Rev. Rose M. Marguardt, pastor of Grace Evangelical Church, Locustdale. Interment will be at a later date in the Brock Cemetery, Ashland. A calling hour will begin at 6 PM until service. Memorials may be made to Grace independent Church, Main Street, Locustdale, PA 17945.
