Margaret M Hennessy

Margaret M. Hennessy, 65, of 207 A St., Girardville, passed away Thursday evening, December 1^st, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.  Born in Ashland, November 2, 1951, she was the daughter of the late David and Margaret Wood Hennessy.  She attended St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic School, Girardville, and was employed as a housekeeper for the former Ashland State General Hospital, Fountain Springs, and later for the Ashland Public Library.  She was a former member of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Girardville, now St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Ashland.

Margaret worked at the Girardville Election Polling locations for many years, and her dedication in life was to her family and most importantly her son Terry, which was her world.

Preceding her in death was her son in law, John T. Heaton, passing

in July 2015.

Daughter:  Mary Kay O’Boyle Heaton, Girardville

Son:  Shawn O’Boyle and his fiancé Gina Yekenchik, Fountain Springs

Son:  Terry O’Boyle Jr., at home

Grandsons:  Justin, Michael, and JJ Heaton, Sean W. O’Boyle

Brother:  William D. Hennessy, Frackville

Godson:  Matthew D. Hennessy

Goddaughter:  Sarah E. Hennessy

Relatives and Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday,

December 7^th, at 11 AM, in Saint Vincent de Paul Worship Center, Girardville.  Celebrating Mass will be Rev. Paul L. Rothermel, Pastor.  Viewing in the church will begin at 9 AM until Mass.  Interment will be at a later date in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Fountain Springs.

As an expression of sympathy, memorials in Margaret’s name may be made to Avenues Foundation of Pottsville- 2 Park Street, Pottsville, PA 17901.
