Linda Lou Newton

Linda L. Newton, 78, of Lavelle Street, Lavelle, passed away June 25, 2025, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.  Born in the village of Taylorsville, Barry Township, she was the daughter of Leroy and Jacqueline (Klinger) Troutman.  She was a graduate of Tri Valley High School, class of 1964, and was employed as a sewing machine operator for the Ashland Shirt Company until her retirement.  Linda was a member of the Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ashland.  Preceding her in death was her husband, Lowell Newton, passing in November 2010.

Sister:  Judith wife of Richard Fritz, Ashland

Sister:  Donna Krise, Virginia

Sister:  Karen Hepler, Taylorsville

Sister:  Susan wife of Charles Klinger, Taylorsville

Sister-In-law: Shirley Boehmer, Mt. Carmel
