Lila H. Arbogast, 83, West Street, Gratz, former Tremont and Hegins resident, passed away Friday, February 23rd 2018, at the Maine General Hospital, Augusta, Maine. Born in Klingerstown, April 15, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Emery and Florence Keim Hatter. She was a graduate of the former Hegins Township High School, class of 1952, and the South Schuylkill Vocational Technical School, graduating as a L.P.N. Lila was employed at the former Ashland State General Hospital, Fountain Springs, and later at the Wernersville State Hospital until her retirement. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Swatara Chapter, Tremont, where she served as Past Worthy Matron, continuing her membership with the Mary E. Moore Eastern Star Chapter, Pine Grove. Lila was a former member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Howard “Pete Arbogast, passing September 6, 1998, and daughter, Michelle “Shelly” Porter, passing June 2, 2008, and a son in law, Clifford Porter, a brother, Lawrence Hatter, and a sister Marian Bohner.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside funeral service, Saturday, March 3rd, at 12:30 PM, in the Friedens Cemetery, Hegins. Officiating will be Rev. Paul L.
