Laura Flickinger

Laura J. Flickinger, 79, of Shenandoah, formerly a Frackville resident, passed away June 26, 2025, peacefully at the Schuylkill Center Nursing Home, Pottsville.  Born in Ashland, December 11, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Jennie (Kernosky) Wagner.  Laura was a graduate of the former Frackville High School, class of 1966.  She attended Zion’s Lutheran Church, Frackville. Preceding her in death was a son Robert Stine, a daughter Doreen Jessen, brothers; Kenneth, James, Paul, and Robert Wagner, sisters; Rosalie Wagner, Helen Kochol, Shirley Gunderman, Jean Slackus, also a grandson, Grayden Flickinger.

Son:  Norman Flickinger and his wife Candy, Lavelle

Brother:  William Wagner, Frackville

10 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, and Great Nephews.

She deeply loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Laura’s Life, Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 11 AM, in the Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home, 1323 Centre St. Ashland.  Officiating will be Rev. Dana Heckman Beil, pastor the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Ashland.  Visitation in the funeral home will begin 9 AM until the 11 AM service.  The family request memorials be made to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 35 N.
