Josephine E. Leach

Josephine E. Leach, 66, of S. Willow Street, Mt. Carmel, former Lavelle resident, passed away Friday evening, January 17^th, at the Mountain View Nursing Center, Coal Township.  Born in Fountain Springs, January 4, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Joanne Farrell Everdale.  She was a graduate of North Schuylkill High School, class of 1971, and McCann School of Business, Mahanoy City, class of 1974.  Jose was employed as a kitchen aide for Broad Mountain Nursing Home, Frackville, and later for Ridgeview Nursing Center, Shenandoah Heights, until her retirement.  She was a lover of animals, volunteering at the Hillside S.P.C.A., Pottsville, for fourteen years as a fundraiser.

Preceding her in death was an infant daughter, Jillian Marie Leach, a brother Albert J. Everdale, and maternal grandparents, Albert and Josephine Farrell.

Son:   Ryan Leach and his companion Natasha, Lavelle

Pets:  Dakota, Nanok, Nicky, and Miss Taz

Relatives and friends will be invited to attend a graveside funeral services at a later date.  The Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home, Ashland, is in charge of arrangements.
