Joseph Brennan Obituary

Joseph “Beefo” Brennan, 67, of Gordon, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at his residence.  Born at the former Ashland Hospital in Fountain Springs, July 27, 1957, he was the son of the late James and Elizabeth Heffner Brennan.  He was a graduate of the former Cardinal Brennan High School. Fountain Springs, and was employed as a Laborer with the Laborers’ International Union of North America, Local #158, Harrisburg.  Beefo owned and operated Beefo’s Bar in Ashland for many years until his retirement.  He was a member of the former Saint Mauritius Roman Catholic Church, now Saint Charles Borromeo Parish, V.F.W. Post #7654, the Good Fellowship Club all of Ashland, also the Lavelle Fire Company.  He was a veteran having served his country in the U.S. Army as a Trach Vehicle Mechanic with the 32nd Armor Division in Germany following the Vietnam War.  Preceding him in death was his twin sister, Roseann R. Brennan, passing July 18, 2022, a sister, Mary Fetter, and a brother Robert Brennan.

Care giver and long time companion, Robin Hubler, Gordon

Step Son:  Wade Hubler, Gordon

Step Daughter:  Stephanie Kerner, Locustdale

Grandchildren:  Danielle Dower, Texas; Chloe Kerner, Locustdale; Evan Hubler, Gordon

Niece:  Kim Fetter, Ashland

Nephew:  Mike Fetter, Ashland
