Obituary

John Holloway, 60, of Hobart Street, Gordon, passed away Sunday October 30, 2022, at his residence.  Born in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, he was the son of the late John and Julia Evely Holloway Jr.  He attended Cherry Hills Schools, and was formerly employed as a construction foreman for Duggan & Marcon, Inc., of Luzerne, and presently as a Truck Driver for Waste Management Corporation, Coal Township.  John’s enjoyment in life was being with family and friends.  He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles football fan, loved fishing, hunting, and NASCAR.  John loved being a jokester, he was the light in every room, and will be missed by so many.

Survivors:

Daughter:  Rebecca Holloway, Ashland

Son:  Christopher Holloway, San Diego, California

Sister:  Laura wife of Jeffrey Poznick, Pitman, N.J.

Brother:  David Holloway and his wife Diane, Buffalo, N.Y.

Granddaughter:  Kennedy Holloway

Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, and Many Friends

Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life funeral service, Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 6 PM, in Chick’s Café, 336 McKnight St., Gordon.  Visit www.Fritzfuneralhome.com.  The Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home, Ashland, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
