John E. Breslin Obituary

John E. Breslin Sr., 69, of West Mahanoy Ave., Girardville, passed away unexpectedly Friday evening April 29, 2016 at his residence.  He was born in Pottsville, December 18, 1946, and was the son of the late Frank and Rose Manion Breslin.  John attended Pottsville High School.  Following high school, he served in the U.S. Army as a cook during the Vietnam Era.   


He was a member of the former St. Francis DeSales R.C. Church, Mt. Carbon.  John operated Johnny B’s Tavern, Port Carbon, until his retirement.  He was a member of the Frackville American Legion Post #398, and a life member of the New Philadelphia AMVETS Post #256.    

 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral committal service on May 3, 2016, at 1:30 P.M. at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Fountain Springs.  Reverend Monsignor William F. Glosser, Dean of Schuylkill Deanery will officiate.  Visit Fritzfuneralhome.com
