Joan A. Ritter, 86, former Bloomsburg resident, passed away Sunday, October 15th, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Born in Danville, July 2, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Thomas “Tates” and Eva Gateman Hummer. She attended Danville High School, and was employed at the former Bloomsburg Woolworth store and lastly as a cashier for the former Hills Deportment Store, Buckhorn, until her retirement. Joan was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall, Bloomsburg.
Preceding her in death was a brother Thomas Hummer.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial funeral service, Saturday, October 21st, at 1:30 PM in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1014 West Street, Mifflinville.
