JoAnne E. Zerby

JoAnne E. Zerby, 74, of Malones Road, Ashland, passed away Tuesday, September 19th, at the Lehigh Valley Medical Center, Allentown. Born in Fountain Springs, December 4, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Eva Kardisco Beury. She attended Ashland High School, and was employed at the former Ashland State General Hospital, Fountain Springs, as a phone operator and receptionist until her retirement.
JoAnne attended the First United Methodist Presbyterian Church, Ashland.
Preceding her in death was a son, David R. Zerby, passing on
September 18, 2007.

Son: Dwayne Zerby, Fountain Springs
Son: Allan Korn and his wife Kimberly, Philadelphia
Grandchildren: Alex and Nicolas Korn, Felicia Lockett, Haley Zerby,
and Ian Flynn
Great Grandson: Kadyn Zerby
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service, Saturday, September 23rd, 11 AM, at the Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home, 1323 Centre St., Ashland. Officiating will be Rev. Craig Zimmerman, pastor of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Ringtown. A viewing will begin at 9 AM until service. Interment will follow at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
