Jean A. Carl Lenker, 83, of Main Street, Ashland, passed away Friday, October 16th, at the home of her granddaughter and care giver in Elysburg.
Born in Spring Glen, September 26, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Carrie Schade Koons. She attended the former Hegins Township High School, and was member of the Lavelle Church of the Nazarene, recently serving as church office secretary. Jean worked as a sewing machine operator for the Ashland Shirt Factory until her retirement.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Marlin, passing in 2000, a son Marlin, passing in 1985, a brother, James Koons, and a sister, Patsy Paul.

Daughter: Deborah Galbraith, Mechanicsburg
Granddaughter: Erica wife of Jason Campbell, Elysburg
Grandsons: Francis Letcavage, Joshua Galbraith, Christopher Galbraith
Great Grandchildren: Alden and Ellie Campbell, Mia Rose Letcavage, and Benjamin Letcavage.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life funeral service, October 25th, at 3 PM in the Lavelle Church of the Nazarene, 2879 Fairgrounds Road, Ashland. A visitation will begin in the church at 1 PM until service. Private interment will be in Citizen’s Cemetery, Lavelle. Memorials may be made to the Lavelle Church of the Nazarene, P.O.
