Jane A. Faust, 92, of Biddle Street, Gordon, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023, at the Providence Place Retirement Community, Pottsville.  Born in Saint Clair, September 20, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Bertha Reese Griesel.  She was a graduate of Auburn High School, class of 1948.  Jane graduated from Bloomsburg State College in 1969, and later from Kutztown State College with a Master’s degree in Guidance Counseling.  She was employed as an Elementary Guidance Counselor for the North Schuylkill School District until her retirement.  After retiring, she pursued her love of travel, visiting many countries and all fifty states. Jane was a master Gardner, enjoying her backyard garden.  She also was part of the stock trading group, Pottsville. Jane was an active member of Simpson United Methodist Church, Gordon.  Preceding her in death was her husband, Harvey F. Faust, passing May 1, 1986, Sisters, Ruth Norris and Barbara Filippelli.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life funeral service, Monday, July 10, 2023, at 11 AM, in the Simpson United Methodist Church, 119 Biddle Street, Gordon.  Officiating will be Pastor Susan Hocking.  Visitation will begin at 10 AM until service.  Burial will be private and at a later date.  Memorials may be made to Simpson United Methodist Church, or the Hillside S.P.C.A., Hillside Road, Pottsville, PA.  17901.  Visit www.Fritzfuneralhome.com.
