James T. Trautman, 78, of Fountain Springs, passed away Wednesday, April 21st at his residence. Born in Locust Gap, April 1, 1943, he was the son of the late Mark and Annette (Sis) George Trautman Sr.. He was a graduate of the former Butler Township High School, class of 1961, and was employed for 37 years as a heavy equipment operator and tool room attendant for the Pennsylvania Power and Light Company. Jim was a life time member of the Christ Congregational Church, and the American Fire Company #1, both in Fountain Springs. As an active member of the fire company, Jim helped with the weekly Bingo. He loved woodworking in his home shop, and was an avid Phillies Baseball and Eagles Football fan. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Frank, and a brother, Richard S. Trautman Sr., passing in 2013. Survivors;

Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral service, Saturday, May 1st, at 11:30 AM, in the Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home, 1323 Centre St., Ashland. Officiating will be Mr. John Kessler.
