George P. Walterick

George P. Walterick, 76, of Sunbury, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2019, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born Jan. 27, 1943, in Pottsville, a son of the late Paul M. and Helen (Hosler) Walterick.

George was a 1961 graduate of William Penn High School.
He was employed as a salesman most of his life, recently working as a telemarketer in Shamokin until his retirement.
George was of the Pentecostal faith.

He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, James and Janice Walterick of Shamokin; sister-in-law, Linda Walterick of Mechanicburg; two nephews; one niece; and one great-nephew
.
He was preceded by one brother, Paul D. Walterick Sr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial funeral service at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at Mountain Side Assembly of God Church, 1900 Trevorton Road, Coal Township, with the Rev. Michael T. Goodling, officiating. A calling hour will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. prior to the service.
