G. Earl Bell

G. Earl Bell, 89, of Orchard Drive, Catawissa, passed away February 8, 2022, at the Geisinger Shamokin Community Hospital, Coal Township.  Born in Catawissa, Franklin Township, he was the son of George and Lizzie Kremser Bell.  He graduated from the former Catawissa High School, and was employed as a bank branch manager for the Union National Bank, Numidia, later retiring from the P.N.C.Bank, Catawissa, where he served as branch manager.  "Earl enjoyed deer and pheasant hunting, as well as growing strawberries and sweet corn.  "Earl's work ethic kept him healthy, busy and entertained until his final days."  Preceding him in death was his wife, Joan Erdman Bell, passing December 10, 2010, a son Mark Bell, and a grandson, Conner Bell, also, two sisters, Irene Kreischer and Margaret Snyder.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life funeral service, February 14, 2022, at 11 AM, in the Roaring Creek Valley Methodist Church, 6 Orchard Drive, Catawissa.  Officiating will be Rev. Adam Miller, pastor.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  A viewing will be held in the church, 9 AM until service time.  Memorials in memory of Earl may be made to the Roaring Creek Valley Methodist Church, 6 Orchard Drive, Catawissa, PA., 17820.
