Erich Siringhaus Jr. Obituary

Erich W. Siringhaus Jr. “Ringer” passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2020 in his home.  Born in Ashland, PA April 17, 1947, Rick was the first of six children of Erich and Jean (Heiser) Siringhaus.

He is survived by his brothers Kevin (& Karen) Siringhaus, Keith Siringhaus, his three sisters Karen (& Gerald) Landes, Holly (& Roy) Hornback and Carla (& Phillip) Febus, his three children Tara (& Michael) Mastroieni, Faith Devine and Erich Siringhaus and his four grandchildren Riley, Kaya, Gabrielle and Luke, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Rick was a simple man and never asked much of anyone.  As dependable as they get but stubborn to a fault.  Rick enjoyed sitting by a fire, camping by the Susquehanna River, hunting and fishing. He loved Philadelphia sports but none as important as the Flyers.   He spent many years as a member of the Broad Mt. Archery Club, American Legion and NRA.

Rick left High School to join the U.S. Navy in 1966 where he completed his GED and was station on the U.S.S. Preble and U.S.S. Saratoga earning his way to 2nd Class Petty Officer and Oil King during the Vietnam War.

After returning from the Navy, Rick had worked his entire career at Gasboy Int. in Lansdale, PA until the plant closure in 2003.

Rick will be honored with a private military interment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery .
