Elizabeth Ranieri, 90, former resident of Second Street, Girardville, passed away, Friday, March 29, 2024, with family by her side, at the Lehigh Valley Hospital – Schuylkill, East Norwegian Street, Pottsville. Born in Girardville, June 13, 1933, she was the daughter of Salvatore and Rose Fulginiti Ranieri.  She was a graduate of the former Saint Joseph’s High School, Girardville, and was later employed for Metro Glass Company, a division of Kraft Foods, Jersey City, N.J., until returning back to Girardville.  Betty was a member of the former Saint Joseph's Roman Catholic Church Girardville.  Preceding her in death were sisters; Louise Drelling, Bernadine “Bernie” Chupasko, Marian Monterosso, Angeline Palestis.
