Elizabeth M. “Liz” Pitts, 73, of 3rd Avenue, Wilburton, former Ringtown resident, passed away Tuesday evening at her home. Born in Shenandoah, October 3, 1943, she was the daughter of the late John and Martha Longenberger Gilbert. She was a graduate of the former Ringtown High School, class of 1961, and was employed as the office manager for the Ringtown Wilbert Vault Company, Ringtown, until her retirement. Liz was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Ringtown.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Charles, passing May 19, 2000, a son in law Ned Drumheller, sisters, Virginia Horne, Rita Gilbert, and Gladys Houser, also a great grandson Kamden Drumheller.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service Monday, October 2nd, 11 AM in St. John’s Lutheran Church, Ringtown. Officiating will be Rev. Jay Serafin, pastor.
