Elizabeth M. Gable

Elizabeth M. “Libby” Gable, 80, of Malones Road, Ashland, passed away Saturday, November 18th at her residence. Born in Shamokin, September 3, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret McWilliams Granzow. She was a graduate of the Shamokin High School, class of 1955, and was employed as a teacher’s aide for the children’s day care center, Fountain Springs, until her retirement. Libby was a member of Christ’s United Lutheran Church, Airport Road, Ashland.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Henry J. Gable Jr., passing in March 28, 1984, daughters, Hollie Gable and Hillary Pellish, grandchildren Jared, Kirstin, and Kelsey Brown, Jennifer Pellish, a sister Sarah Holler, and a brother Robert Granzow.
