Donald I. Grove

Donald I. Grove Sr., 87, of Vermont Drive, Kulpmont, passed away Wednesday, May 15^th, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.  Born in Cleveland Ohio, January 5, 1932, he was the son of the late Irvin and Evelyn Grove.  He was a graduate of Northfield High School,  Ohio.  Donald served twenty two years in the U.S. Navy beginning his enlistment in May of 1951, serving in Korea, reenlisting in January of 1958, and again in January of 1961.  His tours included serving on the USS Bushnell and the USS Daniel Boone.  After his service time, Donald was employed with the U.S. Post Office, at San Diego, California, as a dispatcher.  Preceding him in death was his wife, Erle, passing in 2007, a son John, and brothers Raymond and Gary.

Son:  Gregory Grove and his wife Rita, Kulpmont, PA
