Denise Derr -Maloney

Denise Derr-Maloney, 68, of Ashland, passed away Friday, December 19, 2025, at the Shenandoah Senior Living Community, Shenandoah.  Born at the former Ashland Hospital, Fountain Springs.  She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Leinenbach) Derr.  Denise was a graduate of the North Schuylkill High School, class of 1975, and was employed for many years in the printing department of the Tri State Envelope Corporation.  She loved Birds, Cats, vacationing in Wildwood, New Jersey, and watching the TV show General Hospital.  She was a member of Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Parish, Ashland. Preceding her in death was her twin sister, Debbie Jordan, brother Joseph Derr, a sister Peggy Ann Edmondson.

At the family’s request, funeral services are private.  Memorials may be made to the Hillside S.P.C.A., 51 SPCA Road, Pottsville, PA  17901.
