David Rockwell Sr.

David Rockwell Sr., 70, of Preston Avenue, Girardville, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2026, with his family by his side, at his residence.  Born at the former Ashland Hospital in Fountain Springs, October 8, 1955, he was the son of the late Marlin and Matilda (Erdman) Rockwell.  He attended North Schuylkill High School, and was employed as a Machinist in Boiler Maintenance. David enjoyed riding on his motorcycle in his free time.  He was a member of Zion’s Reformed United Church of Christ, Ashland, and was a former scout leader with the Ashland Boy Scouts.  Preceding him in death was a brother R. Kevin Rockwell, passing June 2020.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Dave’s life, Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 12 Noon, in the Christ Church Cemetery, 134 Broad Street, Fountain Springs, Ashland.  Officiating will be Rev.
