David W Klinger

David W. Klinger Sr., 83, of Gap Street, Valley View, passed away with family at his side, Sunday, February 2, 2025, at his residence.  Born in Barry Township, September 16, 1941, he was the son of the late Gurney and Mildred (Moser) Klinger.  David was a graduate Tri Valley High School, class of 1959, and was employed as a carpenter with Pine Grove Manufactured Homes of Pine Grove until his retirement in 2011. He was a member of Barry Salem United Methodist Church, Barry Township.  Preceding him in death were siblings, Betty Fetterolf, Ernest Klinger, Delbert (Butch) Klinger, Chester (Chet) Klinger, Dennis Klinger, and Ethel Flannery.

His wife of 65 years, Gertrude Kimmel

Daughter:  Yvonne wife of Norman Lettich, Fearnot

Son:  David Klinger Jr., and his wife Judith, Point of Rocks, Maryland

Son:  Jason Klinger, and his wife Jennifer, Newville

Brother: Marlin Klinger, Shamokin

Six Grandchildren, Seven Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews

Graveside funeral services will be private. David’s family requests memorials in David’s name be made to Four Diamonds, A Mission to Conquer Childhood Cancer, P.O.
