Clara Pees Obituary
Clara May Pees, 78, of Sunbury Street, Shamokin, passed away at home peacefully this morning August 5, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Conneaut, Ohio on December 9, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Francis E. and Marjorie A. Benton Myers. Clara graduated with the Class of 1955 from Rowe High School, Conneaut, Ohio. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
Clara worked many years for Discount House, Lansdale, which was a craft and home furnishings store.
She married Francis G. Pees on November 1st, 1958, who preceded her in death in 2003.
Clara ran a tight ship at her house while raising her children, and was well known for her quilting skills, needlepoint, and meticulous flower gardens. She was very crafty, and placed 1st in various quilting shows throughout Pennsylvania over the years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Robert Myers, and sister Patricia Carmondy, both of Canneaut, OH.

5 Grandchildren: Anthony Salcedo, Francis Pees, Matthew Deshields, Joshua McKinney, and Zachary Hayes
A Sister: Betty Jane Cline, of Conneaut, OH.
