Christine Harris

Christine Harris, 61, of Hoffman Boulevard, Ashland, passed away at home on Sunday afternoon May 29, 2016.  Born January 11, 1955 in Westover, Mass, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Margaret Unger Harris.  Christine was a graduate of the Randolph High School, New York, Class of 1973.   She was a graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice, employed as an advocate for social workers in California until her retirement.  She truly enjoyed helping those in need.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother John Cole, in 2014.

Daughter:  Margaret Hedlund, Las Vegas, NV

Brother:  Kenneth Harris, husband of Peggy, Jamestown, NY

Brother:  Richard Harris, husband of Joyce, Kennedy, NY

Brother:  Robert Cole, Jamestown, NY

A Divine Liturgy will be held on Monday, June 6^th 2016 at 10 A.M. from the S.S. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 131 N. Beech St. Mount Carmel with the Very Reverend Archpriest Michael J. Hutsko officiating. A visitation with the family will be held from 9-10 A.M. at the church.  Interment will be in the parish cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to S.S.
