Cheryl Bohr Obituary

Cheryl K. Bohr, 80, of Auburn, passed away April 15, 2023.  In the week before her passing, she was surrounded by her family and loved ones. Born in Rapid City, South Dakota on April, 25, 1942, she was the daughter of Clayton and Beverly (Snell) Howe.

After graduating from Pine Grove High School in 1960, she was employed by the Library of Congress in Washington D.C.  While raising her children, she was employed at Gold Mills in Pine Grove, the Truck Stops of America, Frystown, and lastly at Plain and Fancy Donut Shop in the Cressona Mall.  Cheryl was of the Lutheran faith. 

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jesse Dreisbach, and brothers, Rene Howe and Michael Maurer. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Glenn I. Bohr, who treated her like a princess; two daughters, Kimberly Stoppi (Michael) and April Dissinger (Lane); three sons, Todd Dreisbach, Drew Dreisbach (Renee), and Glenn Bohr, Jr.; and two sisters, Sheila Maurer and Melanie Behrent (David); 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

At the request of the family, funeral services will be private.  Memorials in

honor of Cheryl may be made to the Salvation Army of Pottsville, 400 Sanderson Street, Pottsville, PA  17901.  Visit www.Fritzfuneralhome.com.  The Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home, Ashland, is in charge of funeral arrangements..
