Beth Ann Burlile, 62, of Fountain Street, Ashland, passed away Friday, May 2, 2025, from a motor vehicle accident. Born October 8, 1962, in Shamokin, she was the daughter of the late Roger and Dorothy Schlegel. Beth was a graduate of Shamokin High School, class of 1981, and had been employed at the Pennsylvania Career Link Office, Pottsville, until her retirement. She was a member of the Tower City American Legion, Post # 468, where she served as president of the Post Ladies Auxiliary. Beth also belonged to the Deer Lake HOG Chapter Motorcycle Club, Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania. She loved riding their “Harley” with her husband L. Marc Burlile, and being involved with multiple American Legion posts.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Beth’s Life, Friday, May 9, 2025, at 12 Noon, in the Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home, 1323 Centre St., Ashland. Officiating will be Rev. Rocco DeMelfi, pastor of the Historic Slocom Chapel, Exeter, Pennsylvania. Visitation in the funeral home will begin at 9 AM until service.
