Annabelle Fetterman

Annabelle Fetterman, 96, of Legion Road, Wilburton, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024, with her daughter by her side, at the Mt. Carmel Senior Living Center, Mt. Carmel.  Born in Berwick, April 22, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Genevieve Evans Eshleman.  She was a graduate of the Berwick High School, class of 1945, and the Penn State University, class of 1950.  Annabelle was employed in the family business at Eshleman’s Army Navy Surplus Store, Berwick, and lastly as a manager for the Turkey Hill Store in Kulpmont.  She served in the position of tax collector in Conyngham Township for many years.  Annabelle was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church, Aristes, and the Daughters of the American Revolution, McClure Chapter, Bloomsburg.  Preceding her in death was her husband, Elwood, passing in 1969; also brothers, Robert and John Eshleman.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Annabelle’s Life Funeral Service, Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 11 AM in the Zion United Methodist Church, 1383 Wilburton Road, Aristes.  Officiating will be Rev. Rose Marquart, pastor.  Interment will follow in Numidia Reformed Church Cemetery.  A viewing will begin at 9 AM in the church until the funeral service.  The family requests memorials be made to the Zion United Methodist Church, P.O.
