Anna M. Sauger, 76, of Second Street, Mt. Carmel, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024, with her daughter by her side, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Born in Philadelphia, July 9, 1948, she was the daughter of the late John and Marie Wingate Summers. She was a graduate of the Upper Moreland High School, class of 1965, and the University of South Carolina where she earned an Associate Degree in Business. Anna was employed as a teller for the Union National Bank, Mt. Carmel. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mt. Carmel, and the Atlas American Legion Post # 804. Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Peter P. Sauger, passing in March 15, 2005, a sister; Roberta “Mickey” McCabe, brothers; Fred, Marble “Skip”, and John Summers.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Anna’s Life Funeral Service, Monday, at 11 AM, in the First United Methodist Church of Mt. Carmel, 46 N. Hickory St., Mt. Carmel. Officiated will be Rev. Kay Painter, Pastor. A viewing will begin at 9 AM in the church until the service. Internment will take place Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 11:30 AM in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
